Acrylic painting, 10x7 ins on board. Last week I visited Sandown bay on the hottest day of this year, two quick sketches of colour and topography led to ths painting; impato and scratches! great fun doing it! (By the way, Sandown has one of the highest sunshine records of the UK and I hope this does it justice!)
